Specialist Carer | London & Hampshire (Remote)

As a Specialist Carer for trafficked children (16+ years old), you’ll be at the fore-front of meeting the everyday needs of vulnerable young people that have been trafficked into and within the UK. Carers  must pass background clearances, and be in good physical health. Our most successful carers are open-minded, dependable, patient. Having a flexible schedule, being tolerant and demonstrating the ability to work as a member of our team are all important qualities for success. 


  • One spare, furnished bedroom in your home 
  • A non-working carer within your home
  • Satisfactory DBS Background and Employment Screening Check
  • Satisfactory references 
  • Ability to work cross culturally with at risk children and young people
  • Ability to work within safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
  • Experience as a foster carer would be a plus but not essential
  • To be self-employed

You will receive

  • Training relevant to all areas of caring for a trafficked child / young person 
  • Placement support from a qualified Love146 Social Worker 
  • A generous allowance when a child / young person is in your care.
